Houston House Tours - Private, School Tours, Club Tours

We will help your organization plan a tour, visit or project to meet your specific needs. 

Past School Tours

Harold Lewis Administration Group Tour & Collaborative Art Project:​ Administrators toured the Houston House with a brief history lesson. Then they did a collaborative art project that currently hang at the school. 
Bunsold Middle School Art Scavenger Hunt: Small groups of kids parents came through on a Saturday. They toured the house and found pieces of art in each room.  It was a self guided tour that the students earned extra credit for participating in to win prizes. 
Enchanted Care Summer Program Tours: They had four classes come through the day of their tour. The tour included history of the historical Houston House, information about the Houston Family, Grace Houston Biamonte's paintings followed by a art project and collaborative painting. 
Creekview Intermediate School visited the historical Houston House spring of 2016. Two groups toured the Houston House along with other Uptown Marysville historical such as the Union County Courthouse and Historical Society. While at the Houston House, they participated in a Scavenger Hunt Tour finding items displayed around the house, while sharing the history of the historical home and Houston family.. History of the Maryville Art League's development and a drawing class. They were served lemonade and cookies.
